This is a very special, indulgent car. Low mileage. A beautiful 1987 TURBO 930, in original Carmen Red, which was a one year only offering on this car. A SUPERB example of the classic 911, this car will absolutely blow your mind, looking and driving like it rolled out of the dealership last week instead of in 1987. It is in excellent condition overall. Original, near flawless paint, no accidents. The beautiful, showroom shine is evident from any vantage point. The car was not detailed for these pictures - just pulled it out of its spot in the garage where it is kept under two covers. Like it just came out of a time machine, this car is rattle-free and feels new and tight, like you would expect of a car of this quality. This car was lovingly maintained by a true Porsche aficionado (PCA member - no DE's). It was doted on like a spoiled teen. Swepco in the gearbox, used Mobil 1 oil only. It has a lightweight Motorsport clutch that my wife can drive with no problem...though that rarely ever happened. I have lots of receipts with a nice paper trail from three owners. Fikse FM 10's are in like new condition with excellent rubber. There is nothing that this car needs. It is pure Porsche perfection, cosmetically and mechanically. You could drive this car across country tomorrow without a worry in the world. This was originally an Arizona car. There is no rust anywhere. THE ENGINE DOES NOT LEAK A SINGLE DROP OF OIL. Engine has never been taken apart, only valve adjustments and servicing. My next step was to do a 3.4L conversion. I never got to it and never needed it. This car has been upgraded with EFI and a Carrera intake manifold. It runs 1 bar of boost and has a large Kokeln intercooler (billet diverter valve) with slide valve removed. It has a K27 (7200) turbo with only a few thousand miles on it. It is also equipped with stainless headers/heat exchangers with heat option. VEMS EFI with full computer readout at ash tray location. It gives boost, engine temp, timing, mixture, EGT, ambient air temp, etc. Works flawlessly. No expense was spared. It was done right, with excellent workmanship throughout. The gauges were silk screened by North Hollywood Speedometer and mileage is documented before and after. Some tasteful billet interior upgrades as well...pedals, door handles, etc. car is a blast to drive. A real head-turning garage-kept beauty queen. A car of this vintage in this spectacular condition only comes around once in a lifetime.
